Role Overview
The SAP HCM / Payroll Junior Associate is responsible for analyzing customer requirements , reviewing the proposed solution architecture , and supporting implementation activities to deliver optimal SAP HCM payroll solutions . The role involves participation in the complete application implementation lifecycle , including design, configuration, development, testing, deployment, and production support . The consultant ensures solutions align with standard SAP functionality , meet client requirements , and maintain high system performance .
The role also involves troubleshooting complex payroll issues , providing technical support , and ensuring continuous improvement of payroll processes and system performance .
Key Responsibilities
Functional & Technical Responsibilities
- Analyze, prioritize, and document customer requirements for SAP HCM and Payroll solutions .
- Review solution architecture to ensure alignment with client requirements and SAP best practices .
- Design and configure SAP HCM modules including Payroll (PY), Time Management (TM), Organizational Management (OM), and Personnel Administration (PA) .
- Participate in the full implementation lifecycle including design, configuration, programming, testing, deployment, and support .
- Implement and maintain solutions across Development, Testing, and Production environments .
- Configure Payroll Schemas, PCRs (Personnel Calculation Rules), Wage Types, and Infotypes according to business requirements.
- Develop error-free, maintainable configurations and code following organizational development standards .
- Perform Integrated Testing of complex payroll applications and ensure system stability and accuracy .
- Troubleshoot complex payroll processing issues and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) .
- Provide technical guidance and support to other project team members.
- Maintain payroll documentation, system configurations, and application flow diagrams .
- Ensure optimal application performance and identify opportunities for system improvement .

Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
