The Team

At S&P Global, our Financial Risk Analytics team provides state‑of‑the‑art products and solutions to help financial institutions measure and manage their counterparty credit risk, market risk, regulatory risk capital, and derivative valuation adjustments. Our innovative technology stack includes a fully vectorized pricing library, machine learning, and big data solutions, enabling scalability and precision. Our products are trusted by the largest tier‑one banks as well as smaller niche firms globally.

Responsibilities and Impact

This position is for a London‑position within the FRA team, combining client implementation, project coordination, product support, data analysis, and operational delivery across FRA solutions. The role supports the full client lifecycle, from onboarding and implementation through to business‑as‑usual support, testing, issue investigation, and continuous improvement.

In addition to strong analytical and technical capability, client relationship management is an important aspect of the role. Ensuring a high level of client satisfaction through effective communication, responsiveness, and delivery discipline is a core requirement.

What We’re Looking For

Basic Required Qualifications:

Basic Required Qualifications

Education and Experience

Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or another relevant technical discipline preferred.

Experience in cloud technology, ideally AWS, but GCP/Azure also valued, with experience with REST APIs/JSON/XML; Kubernetes experience valued.

Project management qualification such as Prince 2 or equivalent experience is an advantage.

Experience with data analysis and operational problem solving.

Experience with Python or other programming/scripting languages.

Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and XML; exposure to modern technology platforms and workflows is preferred.

Commercial Awareness

Experience of technology projects related to financial risk is preferred.

Understanding of financial markets, financial instruments and risk practices within banks is preferred.

Exposure to risk domains such as counterparty credit risk, market risk, regulatory capital, or XVA is beneficial.

Management Requirements

Experience contributing to or managing successful and complex technology implementation or delivery projects.

Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and geographies.
