Summary

Technical Product Manager understands customer needs and translates them to requirements. Works with engineers and architects ensuring that requirements are understood, and that implementation plans match expectations. A technical product manager focuses on the technical aspects of product development, working closely with the engineering team to ensure technical feasibility and implementation.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field. Experience in a technical field can be considered for candidates with a strong understanding of technology concepts.

3+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on technical products. Required

Strong expertise of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, DAD, etc.)

Working knowledge of user research methodologies (e.g., interviews, usability testing).

Proficiency in product analytics tools and data analysis tools.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor presentations for different audiences.

Decision Making: Makes independent decisions on product strategy, roadmap development, and feature prioritization based on user research, market analysis, and business needs. Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure alignment and address potential risks.

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at Mapfre are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Salary Range

$85,000 - $112,000
