Title: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) - Tech Lead
Location: Hyderabad, India
Who we are looking for:
- The Integration Services (ISVC) team is seeking an SDET software developer engineer candidate must have 5+ years of experience in using QA automation tools like Selenium, UFT with financial services background to architect, design, and manage software projects critical to our client’s real-time transaction processing needs. The right individual will leverage their analytical and technical skills to quickly familiar themselves with our environment and deliver on‑time sensitive projects for a leading investment manager. This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.
- What you will be responsible for as a Senior QA Automation lead you will be
- 1. Responsible for overall quality of the delivery and implements necessary check and balances. via peer review, automated tests, functional tests, regression suites, end to end tests and performance tests.
- 2. Create test design and implementation of most complex design components, adopting newer technology and methods to run this function efficiently
- 3. Create and execute on internal Business User Acceptance Test (BUAT) strategies and detailed plans
- 4. Establish and adopt the defect management process in order to track and manage issues through to resolution
- 5. Work collaboratively with development teams and internal/external end user groups
- 6. Ensure the delivered platform supports all business and operational processes as defined by client deliverables
- 7. Support ad hoc testing needs for proof of concepts (POCs)
- 8. Assume the ownership from development to production rollout using software development approaches from Waterfall to Agile, including test-driven development.
- 9. Handle release weekend support and production support.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- 1. Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science
- 2. Minimum 5+ years of experience in automation testing of complex applications
- 3. Minimum 3+ years of Experience of Financial Industry
- 4. Proficient at testing theories, test case design, testing procedures.
- 5. Proficient at Java language, Spring, Spring boot, Mybatis/Mybatis Plus technology frameworks, familiar with microservices is a plus.
- 6. Expert at Java automation testing tools and frameworks, such as TestNG/JUnit, Rest Assured / Httpclient, selenium/Play Wright/cypress or similar tools.
- 7. Priority is given to those who have independently built API/UI automation frameworks and have experience in developing API/UI automation with at least one scripting language(Java/Python/JavaScript).
- 8. Experience with SQL/RDBMS query skills is a must, querying using NoSQL(Elastic Search/Redis/MongoDB is a plus.
- 9. Experience with Selenium, Python, Java (Eclipse) , Test NG, BDD framework for test automation preferred.
- 10. Knowledge of test methodologies and their corresponding tools such as JIRA-XRAY, RTC etc.
- 11. Familiarity with Agile methodology is a plus.
- 12. Understanding of Spring frameworks is a plus.
- 13. Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in code form is a plus.
- 14. Strong learning ability, good communication skills and self-management and problem-solving abilities, serious and responsible work attitude.
- 15. Flexible to work and overlap timing with the team based in US Pacific Zone .
