Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality data management by ensuring timely updates of Static and Market data within the designated processing systems.
- Maintain strict adherence to processes and controls as outlined in the DOI.
- Guarantee timely, accurate, and error-free data processing.
- Recognize that business reference data is a vital component of Financial Market Operations, encompassing Static and Market data processing across multiple regions and systems.
- Support the Market Data Team in executing all Market Data activities and assist the Static Data Team with updates.
- Manage setup and validation of rates across various time zones, ensuring End of Day (EOD) deadlines are consistently met.
- Generate and distribute control reports, monitor signoffs, and elevate to management committee members if signoffs are delayed beyond agreed timelines.
- Develop proficiency with Asset Control, Murex, Reuters, Bloomberg, and Markit platforms.
- Ensure all DOIs are regularly reviewed and updated promptly.
- Provide comprehensive training and knowledge transfer to new team members.
- Ensure all responsibilities comply with relevant policies and procedures, contributing to the development of a robust control framework to uphold internal compliance.
- Participate active in various team projects.
- Represent the Market Data Team in project meetings, Book of Work calls, and related forums.
Skills and Experience
At least 5 years of working experience in banking operation - custody, static data, client management/ onboarding
Experience in banking operations specializing in static data management.
Proficient in utilizing Bloomberg and Refinitiv platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Finance, or an equivalent field
