YOUR IMPACT
Equity Structuring is currently seeking a Vice President to work as part of the Single Stock Structuring team with a focus on equity derivative structuring and capital markets transactions. You will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our global equity derivatives franchise. You will act as a strategic partner to private wealth advisors and institutional clients, leading the execution of complex transactions and spearheading platform innovation. This role offers high visibility, cross-functional leadership, and the opportunity to directly impact revenue generation.

Private Wealth Management (PWM)
Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management (PWM) specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high net worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. PWM Teams work one‑on‑one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities and global reach. Our Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. As client needs evolve, this close relationship allows the team to offer complementary services and new opportunities by leveraging the resources of Goldman Sachs and beyond.
Equity Structuring (EQS)
The Equity Structuring group ("EQS") sits within Private Wealth Management ("PWM") and delivers tailored equity-based solutions to global wealth management and cross‑divisional clients through customized structuring and execution services. EQS provides clients with single stock hedging and monetization expertise, as well as thematic investment opportunities across a variety of implementation vehicles such as public equity, listed options, structured notes, and over‑the‑counter (OTC) derivatives on both an agency and principal basis.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
- Strategic Global Collaboration: Partner with global cross-functional teams to drive the strategic objectives of the Single Stock Structuring Group, ensuring seamless alignment across international markets.
- Transaction Leadership & Execution: Lead and execute sophisticated equity derivative and capital market transactions. Serve as the primary coordinator between Private Wealth Advisors, Cash Trading, Equity Derivatives, and key control partners (Legal, Risk, and Credit) to mitigate risk and optimize deal structures.
- Client Advisory & Market Education: Develop high-impact, client-facing advisory materials. Act as a subject matter expert to educate ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients, family offices, and internal partners on complex structuring solutions and market opportunities.
- Business Intelligence & Market Insights: Synthesize complex market data into actionable intelligence. Deliver executive-level business updates, trend analyses, and macroeconomic insights to internal leadership and external clients.
- Financial Governance & Portfolio Oversight: Oversee revenue tracking, pipeline management, and trade lifecycle governance, ensuring operational excellence and robust risk management across all single-stock transactions.
- Platform Innovation & Technology Strategy: Champion the expansion of our structuring platform. Collaborate with technology, trading, and product stakeholders to design and implement next-generation digital tools that enhance execution efficiency and client experience.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 5 or more years of experience in financial markets
- Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to think independently and analytically within a defined framework
- Motivated team player who takes initiative and has ability to work autonomously
- High degree of personal accountability and ability to deal with sensitive and/or confidential information
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- SIE, Series 7 and 63 required (must be obtained within three months of employment)

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $115000-$270000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
