Purpose of the role
To drive technical excellence and innovation by leading the design and implementation of robust software solutions, providing mentorship to engineering teams, fostering cross‑functional collaboration, and contributing to strategic planning to ensure the delivery of high‑quality solutions aligned with business objectives.

Join us as a Senior Oracle Fusion ERP Functional SME -Financials- BPL- this is a hybrid Oracle Fusion Financials SME role designed for a seasoned professional with a demonstrable and extensive foundation in Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud. Requires Fusion Cloud Financials modules implementation experience combined with Oracle EBS R12.
You will act as the liaison between business stakeholders and the System Integrator (SI), joining a Greenfield implementation- setting up new company, setup and system from scratch. You will be using latest technologies in our new offices.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Leading requirements gathering workshops with business stakeholders, translating business needs into Oracle Fusion Financials solutions
- SI Partner Oversight & Governance: Reviews and validate Functional Design Documents (FDD) and configurations to ensure they align with business requirements and best practices
- Data Migration: Validates vendor and financial data migration from legacy systems to Fusion
- Testing & Validation: Manages SIT and UAT, including defect management in collaboration with the SI partner
To be successful as a Senior Oracle Fusion ERP Functional SME you must have the following essential skills;
- Hands‑on Oracle Fusion Financials configuration experience across core modules: GL, SLA, AR, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Cash Management, AHCS
- Extensive experience in Finance / Accounting systems with R2R domain expertise
- Excellent accounting background (financial close, reporting, reconciliation, IFRS awareness)
- Ability to own BAU support, stabilisation, and continuous improvements post go‑live
Some other highly valued skills may include;
- Oracle EBS R12 exposure beneficial
- Finance, accounting qualification and financial period end closure expertise
- Integration with Oracle EPM especially ARCS reconciliations
The successful candidate will be based in London . Our offices are located at 1 Churchill Place and 7 Westferry Circus (new BPL office).
We support a hybrid working pattern with 3 days per week office‑based presence expected.
