Job Summary

The Vice President, Subsidiary Account Manager & Head of Global Network Banking – France is a dual-mandate leadership role combining senior-level subsidiary relationship management with strategic oversight and leadership of Citi's GNB business in France. In addition to managing a high-value portfolio of multinational subsidiary clients, this individual will serve as the country lead for GNB France — setting the strategic agenda, driving business performance, and representing Citi's GNB franchise across key internal and external stakeholder forums. The successful candidate will be a commercially driven, relationship-focused banker with deep expertise in the French banking and corporate market, proven leadership capabilities, and a track record of delivering strong revenue growth and outstanding client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

Experience: 8+ years of progressive experience in corporate or commercial banking, with a demonstrated track record in relationship management, origination, and business leadership within the French or broader European market; prior experience managing a country‑level business unit or contributing to P&L ownership is preferred. Leadership: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high‑performing teams; comfortable operating with autonomy at a senior level while maintaining strong connectivity with regional and global stakeholders. Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the French corporate banking landscape, local economic trends, sector dynamics, and the relevant French and EU regulatory environment. Credit Skills: Sound credit understanding and strong risk assessment capabilities, with the ability to assess and clearly articulate the credit needs and risk considerations for local subsidiary portfolios. Product Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of corporate banking products, particularly Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS), FX, and Markets; ability to position and tailor Citi's full suite of solutions to local client needs. Strategic Acumen: Ability to translate global and regional GNB priorities into actionable, locally relevant strategies — identifying growth levers and commercial opportunities within the French market. Client Focus: Demonstrable ability to build, sustain, and deepen executive‑level client relationships, with an unwavering commitment to client‑centricity and service excellence. Communication: Outstanding interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills; the ability to influence and engage credibly across all levels of an organization, from local treasury teams to global C‑suite stakeholders. Languages: Fluency in French and English (written and spoken) is required.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is required. An MBA, CFA, Grande École qualification, or other advanced degree is strongly preferred.

This Role is a “Controlled Function” Role as defined by the Central Bank of Ireland Reform Act 2010 and Principal Regulations 2011, and amending Regulations 2014, 2015.
