The World Bank Group (WBG) is the world's largest multilateral development institution, providing financing, knowledge, and technical assistance to governments and the private sector to reduce poverty and promote sustainable development in more than 100 countries.

The WBG's Corporate Real Estate (WBGRE) team manages a global real estate portfolio comprising 182 offices across 145 countries. Beyond delivering real estate transactions, capital investments, and facilities operations, WBGRE develops governance frameworks, standards, and business processes that promote sound decision‑making, accountability, and continuous improvement.

WBGRE is undertaking a project to establish a Real Estate Program Review Framework to systematically evaluate the effectiveness of real estate operations, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and strengthen decision‑making across the global portfolio. The framework will define review methodologies, evaluation criteria, reporting tools, and implementation guidance.
