Job Description
Cuatrecasas is seeking a Controlling Specialist with 4 to 6 years of experience. The main purpose of this role is to support the firm's financial, operational, and strategic management, ensuring the achievement of profitability, efficiency, and growth objectives through business analysis, the implementation of improvement initiatives, and the coordination of support areas that contribute to the firm's success.
DUTIES
- The main functions are:
- Design and implementation of Management Dashboards and KPIs.
- Monitoring and interpretation of key management indicators.
- Oversight of monthly closings and the annual billing closing process.
- Cost control and development of mitigating controls.
- Advisory support and development of a pricing model for the preparation of fee proposals.
- Oversight of monthly reporting on revenue and cost performance, identifying trends and providing value-added insights to optimize management.
- Analysis and supervision of financial and management information, including recommendations and solutions.
- Preparation of ad hoc reports and analyses.
- Monitoring the efficiency of both direct and indirect teams under the scope of responsibility.
- Partnering with the Office Managing Partner to identify and enhance the firm's competitive advantages, supporting action plans and tracking their implementation.
- Anticipating business needs, analyzing the market environment, and identifying opportunities for growth and development.
- Conducting business analyses and proposing and implementing improvement strategies.
- Profitability analysis by business line.
- Participation in the development and monitoring of the office business plan.
- Coordination of support services provided by the firm's functional areas.
- Process analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Preparation and execution of investment projects.
- Identification of internal business opportunities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or specialized master's degree is a plus.
- 4 to 6 years of previous experience in audit, consulting, and finance (Big Four experience is highly valued).
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Advanced English proficiency.
