Job Description

The Director of North America Product Marketing Operations role is responsible for executing on the data, marketing processes, and marketing governance to drive efficiency, consistency and scale in support of content production across North American marketing teams at Columbia Threadneedle Investments. Through a combination of technical, process, and industry knowledge, this role will be essential in streamlining our marketing operations thereby enabling the business to consistently deliver high-quality, timely content across channels and vehicles. In this role you and your team will partner closely with marketing, data, technology, product, and compliance teams to assess needs, create solutions and execute on ways to drive operational efficiencies.

This position is an excellent opportunity to work with a variety of stakeholders across a broad range of content to help innovate and make a lasting impact on how our work is done. It is a hands‑on role that requires strong attention to detail, complex project management, stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem solving.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Finance, or related field; or equivalent work experience.

7 - 10 years of relevant experience in finance (Asset management experience preferred).

Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Knowledge of content management tools (Vermillion, Seismic, Accent, etc) preferred.

Excellent strategic and analytical skills to review processes, solve complex problems and identify improved methods for efficiency.

Proven experience as a senior marketing leader, preferably in a managerial role with people leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Track record of driving operational efficiencies within a task, role, and/or department.

Experience with MS Power Platform and SharePoint.

Understanding of workflow and process management tools.

In‑Office Collaboration

We are a client‑centric, relationship‑based business. Working together, in‑person, is foundational to how we achieve results. By fostering a culture of face‑to‑face collaboration, idea sharing, productivity and personal connection, we deliver for our stakeholders — clients, advisors, employees and shareholders. Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in‑office time or different in‑office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $140,800 – $150,000 per year. We have a pay‑for‑performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long‑term incentives depending on the role. We also have a competitive and comprehensive benefits program that supports all aspects of your health and well‑being, including but not limited to vacation time, sick time, 401(k), and health, dental and life insurances.
