The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details. The Vice President of Government Affairs will support MUFG’s engagement with Congress, the Administration, federal regulatory agencies, and industry stakeholders on public policy issues affecting the financial services sector and the broader business environment. The role, which will report to the Director of U.S. Government Affairs, and work with colleagues across MUFG’s U.S. and global businesses, combines government affairs strategy and execution, substantive policy expertise, and external advocacy-with particular emphasis on financial services, financial policy and regulation, and policy matters impacting a large global financial institution. The Vice President will help develop and advance policy positions, translate complex policy developments into institutional, business, and client implications and actionable engagement priorities, and work with internal partners to understand MUFG’s priorities and support effective external engagement and advocacy.
