VP – Insight & Automation role in Gurugram, focused on data analytics, MI reporting and AI/ML for banking services.
Lead the design, development, and automation of dashboards that drive decision‑making across the organisation.
Purpose of the role
To support the bank's decision-making processes by providing timely, accurate, and insightful information through designing, developing, and maintaining management reports, compelling visualisations and dashboards that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), data insights and trends across various business units.
Accountabilities
Design and development of comprehensive reports and dashboards utilisng best practices in data visualisation principles and design aesthetics to ensure clarity, accuracy, and accessibility. Design, development and implementation of automated report generation processes and visualisation methodologies for improved efficiency and timeliness. Identification and analysis of business requirements to define report content and format. Maintenance and updating of existing reports and dashboards to reflect changing business needs, including co-ordination of reporting template releases and related administrative tasks. Development of robust processes & controls for collating input data, performing exploratory data analysis & data cleansing and seeking signoffs as required. Engagement with stakeholders as needed to ensure up to date data is incorporated into reporting and visualisations.

To be successful as an Insight and Automation – VP, you should have experience with:
Graduate in any discipline with experience in controls, governance, reporting, and risk management, in financial & banking services. Skilled in data insight, analysis, and visualization using tools like Python, SQL, ETL, AI/Machine Learning and Deep Learning along with proficiency in MS Office. Data visualization tool – Tableau (working experience is essential), Power BI, Power Apps, etc. Experience working with large volume of data, unstructured data is essential. Comprehensive understanding of risk, governance, control frameworks, and data management principles. Strong experience in MI reporting and visualization tools, database management, and automation tools. Extensive experience in managing stakeholders, presenting to senior leaders, and providing robust solutions in a risk and control capacity within major financial organizations.
Some of Highly Valued Skills may include:
Proficient in data crunching and analysis, utilizing various tools and techniques, including Natural Language Processing (NLP), CoPilot, etc. Experience as a data scientist is preferred in the past in risk and control or in a financial services organization. Self-starter who takes ownership, monitors progress, and provides clear scenario analysis impacts and recommendations. Identifies opportunities for process improvements and implements control best practices. Excellent skills in articulating complex issues in both business and technical language, verbally and in writing.
