What you'll be doing
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Internal Audit Intern to join our dynamic team. The intern will gain hands‑on experience in auditing processes and contribute to risk management efforts across the organization. Throughout the internship, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to engage directly in various auditing activities, such as assisting in the assessment of financial records, compliance checks, and evaluating internal controls. This practical experience will provide a deeper understanding of how auditing works in a real-world setting. Additionally, the intern will play a role in the organization’s risk management initiatives. This involves identifying potential risks that could affect the company and supporting efforts to mitigate those risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of internal audits and reviews to assess compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Participate in the development of audit plans and work programs.
- Analyze financial statements and relevant documents to identify areas of risk.
- Support the audit team in preparing reports and presentations for management.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather information and insights related to auditing activities.
- Participate in meetings to discuss audit findings and recommendations.
- Prepare the periodic reports for Corporate Bodies, Audit Committee and Regulatory authorities.
What you'll need to succeed
Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree or a Master Program in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field (enrolled at least in the second year of Bachelor). Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills - English mandatory (above B2). Basic understanding of auditing principles and practices is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); basic programming languages (example SAS / R / SQL) would be a plus. Team working, proactive approach in a fast-paced international context. Full-time availability.
