osition Overview:
The IT Department plays a strategic role in ensuring the bank’s operational excellence, security, and innovation. It delivers reliable technological solutions, safeguards critical systems, and supports the development of digital banking services in full compliance with Luxembourg’s regulatory framework.
As part of its core responsibilities, the department oversees the management and optimization of the OLYMPIC Banking Sy-tem an integrated core banking platform used to support daily operations such as account management, payments, securities, and regulatory reporting.
What you’ll be doing
Key responsibilities :
- Analyse, document and validate business requirements from front‑, middle‑, and back‑office stakeholders and translate them into functional specifications.
- Configure, optimise, and parameterise OLYMPIC modules (Accounts, Payments, Securities, Compliance, Reporting) to meet operational and regulatory needs.
- Design new system features and assess their impact on business processes, data flows, and IT architecture.
- Coordinate with the OLYMPIC vendor and internal stakeholders to align on system developments, project deliverables, and regulatory expectations.
- Support change and release management activities to ensure smooth deployments and minimal operational disruption.
- Propose improvements related to digital security, data privacy, and operational efficiency.
- Build strong internal and external relationships and provide effective support to system users.
Your Profile
- Minimum 6–7 years of experience in the banking industry.
- Experience with banking regulatory and reporting requirements (e.g., AML, FATCA, CRS, PSD2).
- Strong expertise with the OLYMPIC core banking system.
- Experience with OLYMPIC MME, RPG, and COBOL on iSeries.
- Solid iSeries knowledge, including CMDs, CLs, and related system functionalities.
- Ability to understand and build complex SQL queries.
- Knowledge of integration interfaces and APIs (OLYMPIC Web Services, IBM MQ middleware) considered as strong asset
- Good understanding of standard IT processes (incident, change, problem management).
- Ability to communicate effectively with professionalism, clarity, and tact.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Proactive, analytical, and solution oriented mindset.
- Service oriented, well organized, and strong team player.
- Motivated to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; Italian, French, or German considered an asset.
