The Senior Business Analyst plays a key role in the design, evolution and optimization of Supply Chain Finance (SCF) solutions, supporting UniCredit’s Corporate clients across international supply chains. The role acts as a functional subject matter expert on SCF products and processes, bridging Business, Operations and IT to ensure the delivery of scalable, efficient and client-centric solutions aligned with regulatory, credit and operational frameworks.
What you'll be doing
Act as Senior Business Analyst and functional SME for Supply Chain Finance products
Analyze and model end-to-end SCF processes, including:
Buyer onboarding and program setup
Supplier onboarding and activation
Credit limits, eligibility rules and risk allocation
Invoice approval, financing, settlement and reconciliation flows
Collect, analyze and formalize business and operational requirements working with Business, Product, Operations, Credit, Legal and IT
Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories and process flows, ensuring consistency across platforms and geographies
Support solution design ensuring proper handling of SCF-specific topics such as limits management, pricing, funding logic, accounting and reporting
Contribute to end-to-end delivery, from requirement definition through UAT, go-live and post-deployment support
Support UAT and defect management, validating SCF scenarios, exceptions and edge cases
Support preparation of governance, steering and decision material for SCF initiatives
Provide functional guidance and training to stakeholders on SCF processes and system functionalities
What you'll need to succeed
7+ years of experience as Business Analyst in banking or financial services
Strong and proven expertise in Supply Chain Finance products and operating models
In-depth understanding of SCF lifecycle, including buyer/supplier journeys, invoice flows, financing and settlement mechanisms
Solid experience in business requirements definition, functional analysis and solution design
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (Business, Operations, IT, external providers)
Excellent communication skills, able to bridge business, operational and technical perspectives
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering or equivalent
Fluent in English
Nice to have
Proven experience in complex, international and multi-stakeholder environments
Proactive, structured and solution-oriented approach with strong attention to detail
Good knowledge of Italian is a plus
