We are looking for a Digital Products Lead to join our AI Governance team.
In this role, you will be part of the AI Governance Chapter, contributing to the design, implementation, and operational execution of UniCredit’s Responsible AI Framework at Group level. You will play a key role in ensuring that AI systems across the Group are governed, monitored, and controlled in line with EU AI Act requirements, internal policies, and risk management standards.
You will act as a reference point for specific AI governance domains, supporting AI lifecycle governance, AI risk classification, AI inventory quality, third party AI oversight, and regulatory compliance controls.
What you'll be doing
Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of the Responsible AI Framework in line with the EU AI Act and related regulatory guidance
Support the update and rollout of Global Policy on Responsible AI, Global Operational Rules for AI systems
Support and define in the AI lifecycle governance processes including the AI assessment and mapping, evaluation gates, GPAI evaluation
Monitor regulatory updates and assess impacts on governance processes and AI systems
Contribute to the maintenance and quality control of the Group AI inventory across Legal Entities: support AI inventory including, mapping of AI systems within inventory tools, execution of questionnaires and data validation, classification and reporting activities
Support monthly Risk Appetite Framework KPI monitoring related to AI
Contribute to due diligence activities and risk classification of vendor AI solutions
Support the review of AI contractual clauses and addenda in collaboration with Procurement and Legal
Contribute to the evolution of AI governance platforms, including AI Inventory & System Registry, Risk and Compliance modules (risk assessment, FRIA, conformity)
Support the standardization and review of AI documentation, such as model cards, data cards, and technical documentation templates
Provide inputs to dashboards, KPIs, and governance reporting
Support program management activities related to AI Act initiatives and governance projects
Contribute to internal, external, and regulatory audits, including evidence preparation and remediation of findings
Coordinate with country representatives and internal stakeholders to ensure consistent application of Group AI Governance standards
Contribute to Responsible AI awareness and AI literacy initiatives across the Group
What you'll need to succeed
Solid knowledge of AI governance, Responsible AI principles, and EU AI Act fundamentals
Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical development solutions
Experience in building AI governance requirements from scratch
Understanding of AI system lifecycle risks, including classification and documentation
Strong analytical and structured thinking skills
Excellent communication skills, particularly with non‑technical stakeholders
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in cross‑functional, Group‑wide initiatives
Ability to operate effectively in an evolving regulatory and organizational context
Degree in STEM, Data, AI‑related fields, or equivalent professional experience
