The Equity & Fixed Income Middle Office
The Equity & Fixed Income Middle Office is part of the Chief Operating Office (COO) and is responsible for various operational support activities to Front Office. Amongst others, we ensure the in-time processing of all derivative transactions and related asset classes. As the “First Line of Defense”, we perform independent trade validation checks for mitigating operational and fraud risks.
What you'll be doing
- Development, maintenance and enhancement of tools and/or databases
- Data analysis and data visualization
- Regular preparation of management reports
- Support in projects aiming at the design of new processes, as well as improvement of existing processes
What you'll need to succeed
- Ongoing University studies in business, finance, economics, financial mathematics, or alike
- First practical experience in the banking area is an asset
- Keen perception and strong analytical skills, structured and goal-oriented working approach is an advantage
- Team player and the ability to work self-reliant
- Experienced user of MS Office products
- Very good programming skills in Excel VBA is absolutely necessary
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken

Remuneration and Working Conditions
During your working student position, we offer you exciting practical insights, flexible working arrangements, and attractive learning opportunities in an international environment – with a remuneration of €18.06 gross per hour. This corresponds to classification in collective pay group 3, year 3, in accordance with the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement for the private banking sector.
In addition, for the period during which you are employed as a working student with us, and adjusted to the agreed working time factor, you will receive a pro rata 13th salary. Based on full-time employment over an entire year, this amounts to €3,052 gross.
