What you'll be doing
Requirements & Solution Design : Lead the requirements gathering and study process, analyzing and evaluating implementation solutions to integrate with various banking systems and interfaces in accordance with the IT and Security standards of the Bank.
Functional Specifications : Prepare detailed Functional Specifications, identifying data structures, defining business logic algorithms, mapping data transformation flows, and providing clear, structured written assignments (tasks) for the development teams.
Software Production Coordination : Act as a key coordinator of the software development lifecycle, aligning activities and timelines between business stakeholders, Product Owners, Developers, and QA teams to ensure smooth and timely software delivery.
Testing & Quality Assurance : Define test strategies, prepare comprehensive test scenarios to verify software developments, and actively participate in/coordinate functional and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Application & Integration Analysis : Analyze, design, and maintain new and existing banking products and features across various satellite systems without performing hands‑on programming.
Incident & Problem Management : Investigate and resolve functional incidents and problems related to the bank's digital channels and applications, ensuring system stability and functional alignment.
Technical & Functional Documentation: Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date functional specifications, integration diagrams, and system documentation.
What you'll need to succeed
Education: University degree in Information Technologies, Computer Science, Mathematics, or another technical/analytical specialty.
Professional Experience : Strong proven experience as an Application Analyst, System Analyst, or IT Business Analyst in the software development domain (experience with banking/financial information systems is considered a strong advantage).
SDLC & Coordination Skills : Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and proven experience in coordinating software production activities among cross-functional teams.
Specification & Analysis Expertise : Outstanding skills in gathering business requirements, business process modeling, and writing detailed functional specifications/integration requirements.
Technical Literacy (No coding required):
Strong knowledge of SQL (MS SQL, PL/SQL for Oracle DB) to perform data analysis and database queries.
Good understanding of Web Services (REST and SOAP), APIs, and integration patterns.
Methodologies: Strong experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Soft Skills : Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills; a responsible, dynamic, and proactive team player.
Languages : Excellent command of English and Bulgarian (written and spoken).
AI tools : practical experience in usage of AI solutions in business and functional analysis
