JOB SCOPE
Responsible for overseeing and managing Partnership Distribution (PD) Governance by delivery of superior governance support, excellent rapport and customer satisfaction.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for Risk and Compliance for PD Governance and achievement of set targets through proper tracking and monitoring with timely closure.
- To engage respective stakeholders between 1st line and 2nd line of Defense and seek proper advice from Risk and Compliance when feasible.
- To ensure timely and accurate submission of Risk and Compliance gap analysis, control and self-assessment as per Risk and Compliance.
- To provide support and drive new initiatives as per Risk, Compliance and Regulatory guidelines or requirements to ensure risk and compliance awareness within the department.
- To ensure governance process adhered to Risk and Compliance guide including Group’s requirement.
- To raise issues and incidents within timeline. Work with Risk, Compliance & Legal to validate the root cause & identify recovery action and monitor on issue/incident action closure within timeline.
- Sale compliance to identify potential compliance risk through complaint, welcome call observations and periodic evaluation of YPFR form to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and ethical standards.
- To elevate or highlight allegation or risk identified in governance forum & monitor action require (if any) to ensure proper action closure.
- To facilitate documentation and information requests for BNM audit and internal audit/compliance review, responding to audit findings and supporting implementation of audit recommendations and tracking action closure within stipulated timeline.
- To maintain and update relevant SOPs to reflect the latest process flow as well as compliance with latest requirements.
- To build rapport and provide governance support to PD business division.
- Perform any other duties that are assigned by Superior from time to time.
Work Experiences
At least 10-year experience in insurance industry, preferably in QA and project management experience.
Education/Qualifications
Diploma or degree holder in any discipline.
PCE, CEILI related courses would be an advantage.
Knowledge/Skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Responsible and ability to work under minimum supervision.
Positive mindset and a good team player.
