Responsibilities
- > Ensure policies and procedures governing activities of PJT Partners (Saudi Arabia) are current and meet local regulatory expectations
- > Advise the Strategic Advisory and Restructuring teams in Saudi Arabia in their execution activities and provide independent oversight of the personnel conducting activity on behalf of PJT Partners (Saudi Arabia)
- > Facilitate regulatory interactions and regulatory reporting with the Capital Market Authority(“CMA”), and other relevant governmental bodies
- > Monitor licensing and registration requirements for PJT Partners (Saudi Arabia) personnel
- > Track, assess and advise the firm in relation to regulatory developments in Saudi Arabia
- > Provide local support for the Finance and Operations functions in the region
- > Play a pivotal role connecting the Saudi team with colleagues in London and New York, fostering collaboration and consistency across regional and global operations
Qualifications
- > 5 years’ experience as a compliance professional (either at a financial services firm, consultancy or regulator)
- > Bachelor’s degree required
- > Strong knowledge of the rules and procedures of the CMA
- > Familiarity with M&A, capital markets, and fund marketing services
- > Fluent in Arabic, with strong proficiency in written and spoken English
- > Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to take initiative and manage competing priorities
- > Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex regulatory matters and challenge constructively when needed
- > Proven ability to work independently, while effectively collaborating with global Legal & Compliance and broader Corporate teams
- > Collaborative mindset and the ability to effectively partner with internal and external stakeholders
- > Strong analytical, prioritization and problem-solving skills
- > Demonstrated risk and control awareness, with the ability to identify and elevate issues promptly and appropriately.
- > Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
