Seeking finance manager with 6-8 years experience in Middle East.
Responsibilities
PJT's International Finance team is responsible for supporting the firm's operations outside the US and is looking to hire a Finance Manager to build out our finance capability in the Middle East. Based in Riyadh and reporting into the International Controller in London, this position operates as an extension of the London-based International Finance team, with the autonomy to manage day-to-day financial operations effectively in the region. Day-to-day, the Finance Manager will partner with our global corporate functions, including Compliance, and integrate closely with the broader finance function spanning Tax, Equity, Policy, and others.
- Managing the close processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Managing the regulatory filings and ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements (e.g. the CMA and DFSA)
- Coordinating statutory audits and monitoring IFRS and local regulatory developments across jurisdictions
- Managing treasury operations including supporting cash flow forecasts, , intercompany funding, cross-border transfers, and banking relationships
- Preparing monthly management accounts (P&L and balance sheet) and supporting management and operating committee reporting
- Supporting tax compliance across the region, including VAT (ZATCA/FTA), Zakat, Corporate Income Tax, ZATCA e-invoicing
- Maintaining relationships with business partners, external auditors, legal counsel, and regulatory bodies in the region
- Partnering with colleagues across the global finance function on strategic initiatives, entity structuring, and other ad hoc projects as the Middle East business evolves
Qualifications
We are looking for a highly motivated, commercially astute self-starter with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across cultures and time zones. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) with 6–8 years’ finance experience, including at least 4 years in the Middle East
- Experience managing banking relationships across KSA and UAE, and general treasury management, including cash flow forecasting and intercompany funding
- Working knowledge of ZATCA, VAT, Zakat and UAE Corporate Tax
- Proficient in finance systems (Workday, Oracle, or similar) with advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills; fluency in English required; Arabic language skills preferred
