Private Wealth Director

The Private Wealth Director leads and cultivates client relationships for Wealth Advisory and Private Client Advisory segments. Serves as a trusted, strategic advisor and coordinator across all aspects of Wealth Management for clients. Drives organic growth through client retention and expansion and sourcing new relationships.

Cultivates and manages deep, long-term relationships with clients, serving as the central point of contact and helping navigate complex financial needs.

Develops referrals and leads from internal and external sources including centers of influence working with clients.

Understands each client’s unique family dynamics, financial goals, and philanthropic aspirations.

Works with team of experts to develop and implement customized Wealth Management strategies for clients.

Orchestrates specialists to provide holistic financial services including wealth structuring, credit facilities, banking, asset management, budgeting, insurance, charitable giving, wealth transfer, and tax services.

Develops tailored meeting agendas and presentations with proactive, targeted advice and a relationship timeline to fulfill client goals in the short, medium and long term.

Reviews accounts to determine the banking, investment and advisory needs of clients; anticipates and creates opportunities for enhancing client relationships.

Contributes to organic growth by expanding current relationships and sourcing new ones.

Actively participates in the development of new and integrated solutions to meet client needs.

Bring in experts, when appropriate, and close the sales.

Ensure smooth delivery of new services and communicate emerging needs.

Incorporates digital solutions and capabilities to enhance the client experience.

Qualifications

Salary Range

$236,555 - 414,115 USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
