We are seeking a talented individual to join our Advisory team at Marsh. This role will be based in and surrounding regions of Horsham or Ballarat.

Occupational Health and Safety Consultant – South West region

A unique OHS consulting opportunity exists within our Victorian consulting practice. The OHS consultant role reports to a Senior OHS Consultant within the team of specialist consultants delivering OHS services including risk assessments, incident investigations, workplace inspections and providing advice and support to clients on all matters relating to OHS.

You would work remotely with frequent travel required within your regional area to visit our client sites. Your impact will be working on site with our clients to provide hands‑on OHS support and advice.    Occasional travel to our Docklands office to participate in team meetings and events will also be required.

We will count on you to:

Tertiary degree in Occupational Health and Safety or any relevant field (minimum Cert IV OHS + relevant experience will be considered)

Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in OHS advisory or related role is desirable – less experience in a related role will be considered

High level of professionalism and experience working with government organisations is highly regarded

Sound working knowledge of OHS legislation and current issues in OHS

Sound understanding of risk management principles and the ability to apply these principles in the management of WHS hazards

Current driver’s license and own vehicle required
