Job Summary
To support ongoing compliance monitoring and administrative activities within the department, particularly in maintaining regulatory tracking, reporting, training monitoring, and documentation management. The internship will also support operational efficiency through structured administrative assistance while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., no access to customer information).
What You’ll Do
Regulatory & Documentation Support
Assist in updating and maintaining the registry for regulatory changes and gap analysis monitoring.
Support the enhancement of recordkeeping, retention, and archiving of departmental documentation.
Training Monitoring, Reporting & Administrative Support
Track training completion status and updating records in Compliance Committee Meeting (CCM) decks.
Maintain and update reporting statistics (e.g., Personal Account Dealing, Outside Business Interest, and complaints).
Assist in preparing periodic reports.
Support administrative activities, including maintaining registers (e.g., Compliance Liaison Officer), managing communications, and coordinating meeting logistics.
Provide general support for monthly reviews (e.g., Regulatory Reporting Task Force) and other ad hoc compliance tasks
Scope Limitation
Strictly an administrative and coordination role with no access to customer data, banking transactions, or core banking systems.
Eligibility Criteria
Final year undergraduate students whose internship is a mandatory requirement for course completion.
Available to undertake a full time 12 week internship commencing in October 2026.
Minimum CGPA of 3.0 or equivalent academic standing.
Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Able to handle tasks in an organized and responsible manner.
Preference will be given to candidates who are able to speak Chinese (Mandarin) for audio monitoring.
Note
Interns will receive an allowance of RM 1,500 per month.
