Role Summary
The HR Operations Assistant Vice President (AVP) leads the delivery of HR Operations services within a Global HR Central Services model, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and compliant service delivery across the employee lifecycle. The role acts as an escalation point for complex cases, while driving process standardization, governance, and continuous improvement. The AVP partners closely with HR stakeholders, leads operational execution, and ensures strong risk and control frameworks are maintained.
Job Profile
Employee Lifecycle Management
Lead execution of end-to-end employee lifecycle processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance
Ensure alignment of lifecycle processes with regulatory and business requirements
Partner with Payroll and HR stakeholders to ensure accurate downstream processing
Severance & Involuntary Termination Operations
Lead end-to-end severance and involuntary termination operations, ensuring accurate and compliant execution
Act as the initial escalation point for complex severance cases, including redundancy and mutual separations
Ensure governance, approvals, and legal requirements are adhered to across all severance processes
Partner with various HR teams on severance / termination execution
Lead tracking, reporting, and audit readiness of all involuntary exit activity
Drive process improvements and standardization initiatives within severance operations
HR Systems, Data & Documentation
Ensure integrity and governance of employee data within HR systems (e.g., Workday)
Produce HR documentation ensuring quality, compliance, and consistency
Ensure effective document management, retention, and audit readiness across operations
Drive improvements in data quality, controls, and system utilization
Compliance, Risk & Controls
Ensure strong risk and control environment, including identification and escalation of issues
Lead and support HR audits, ensuring completeness and accuracy of documentation as required
Stay informed of regulatory changes and ensure operational readiness
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
Drive process optimization, standardization, and automation initiatives across HR Operations
Identify and implement improvements to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness
Support transformation and operating model initiatives within Global HR Operations
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
Partner with HR Business Partners, COEs, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated HR operations
Build strong stakeholder relationships and act as a trusted advisor on HR Operations matters
Collaborate across regions to ensure consistency and alignment of service delivery
Engage with vendors and external partners as required
Reporting & Performance Management
Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making

1.This is a global role so the resource is expected to work in global time zones (shift allowances will be applicable as per the shift allowance policy)
2.Though they will follow India holidays, they might have to login on those holidays when needed as per the duties(working on holidays policies will be applicable)
3.This is a 3 day WFO set up with no or minimum exceptions (applicable to HR Ops Analysts and HR Ops AVP/VP’s 4.Candidates with language fluency of Spanish, Portuguese, French will be added advantage
