Join MUFG as an Assistant Vice President in Compliance and play a meaningful role in shaping how we engage with regulators, manage regulatory change and uphold the highest standards of governance across our corporate banking business. Working closely with the Head of Compliance and the Regulatory Relationship team, you will gain exposure to senior stakeholders, regional and head office interactions, and a broad range of regulatory matters that are central to maintaining MUFG’s trusted position in the financial industry.

What we are looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance or a related discipline. At least 5 years of industry experience, ideally gained in corporate or commercial banking within Compliance or Risk. Good knowledge of corporate banking products and Hong Kong banking regulations, with a keen interest in regulatory developments. Familiarity with the SFC Code of Conduct and licensing requirements. Prior experience liaising with Hong Kong regulators would be an advantage. Excellent written and spoken English. A collaborative, proactive and self‑motivated working style, with the confidence to work independently when needed. Strong analytical skills and sound judgement, particularly when navigating complex matters where specific guidance may not be available. Clear communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders professionally and confidently.
