• Accountable for delivering a quality service and product to customers and stakeholders
• Focuses on quality of delivery to achieve clear outputs within guidelines and precedent
• Runs the organisation's processes and systems following pre-defined procedures
• Adapts to change, responds with initiative and make suggestions for improvements to own work and processes
Key responsibilities
Completion of daily and monthly bank reconciliations
Maintenance of accurate accounting records
Adherence to CASS rules through monitoring and reconciliation of Client Money accounts
Oversight of Client Money reconciliations completed by third party administrators
Production of monthly Client Money and Asset Return to FCA
Cash balance monitoring and reporting in accordance with internal policies
Management of foreign currency balances
Collation and input of electronic bank transfers through the relevant banking systems
Administration of new bank account set-ups
Maintain signatories and mandates of existing bank accounts
Knowledge of the cash flows around the Group and their relation to business changes
Key knowledge, skills & experience:
Knowledge of client money rules an advantage
Experience in a financial background including reconciliations
Ability to work under one’s own initiative
Good planning and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Good communication skills
