Shape profitable fee structures, collaborate across Finance, and support partners with data-driven insights.

About us:

Linklaters is a global law firm, providing legal services in 20 countries and through 30 offices.

Linklaters is a people business. Being best in class in the eyes of our clients means that our people must be exceptional.

We look not only for brilliant minds, but for people who will thrive in our environment: people who love working collaboratively and demonstrate the innovative, efficient, agile, entrepreneurial, and responsible mind-set we aim to bring to every interaction.

Ours is an environment of outperformance. We achieve this not with targets and incentives, but by fostering a positive, supportive, fair, and open atmosphere.

We respect and value difference but insist on inclusivity. We celebrate all aspects of diversity and challenge any form of bias. This is vital to our ability to work as one team, with a common goal.

The Role:

We are looking for a commercially minded Pricing professional to join our Finance team, focused on developing innovative pricing propositions and delivering robust financial modelling to support sound pricing decisions and negotiations. You will play a key role in sharing pricing insights across the firm, proactively disseminating information and supporting partners with expert guidance. Additionally, you will help build pricing capability by embedding best practice through training and on-the-ground support. Working collaboratively across the global Finance network, you will contribute to data-led decision-making and the firm’s overall financial performance.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Develop innovative pricing propositions that enhance the ability of practice groups to win profitable work

Undertake complex financial analysis and scenario modelling to shape appropriate fee arrangements, particularly for global fee deals

Support Partners and Client Relationship teams in pricing negotiations, providing clear, data-led insights and recommendations

Monitor the lifecycle of client fee arrangements, proactively managing renewals and new deals with a structured and commercial approach

Engage and manage stakeholders to gather relevant information, ensuring timely and accurate implementation of pricing agreements within financial systems

Produce insightful reporting and visualisations (e.g. via Tableau), identifying pricing trends and sharing best practice across the global pricing network

Provide both ad hoc and planned pricing support to fee earners, including delivering training, demonstrating pricing tools, and supporting live matters

Contribute to governance, systems and processes by maintaining pricing databases, supporting global best practice, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimise matter profitability

What we’re looking for:

Proven experience in pricing, including fee analysis and supporting negotiations within a professional services environment, ideally within the legal sector

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a range of internal stakeholders to develop robust and commercially sound pricing models

Strong analytical capability, with experience managing pricing data and conducting complex financial analysis to support best practice in pricing discipline

Commercially astute, with a track record of influencing decision-making to drive sustainable profitability

Highly proficient in Excel, with a proactive, self-motivated approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure

What's on offer:

This role can be based in our London offices, with a hybrid working model available.

Joining Team Linklaters will see you qualify for a range of benefits designed to reward the vital contribution you'll be making to our success. These include:
