Job Responsibilities

Education

A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in mathematics, statistics, or related analytical field

Certification

ACAS required; FCAS preferred

Work Experience/ Skillset

Minimum of 8-10 years of actuarial experience, with a strong emphasis on Commercial Lines pricing required

Demonstrated experience in Professional Lines products (e.g., E&O, D&O, EPLI) strongly preferred

Proven ability to lead and manage projects, including prioritization, resource coordination, and delivery against deadlines

Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with Underwriting and other business partners

Ability to clearly articulate and defend actuarial assumptions, methodologies, and conclusions

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to balance technical rigor and practical business judgment

Experience working in cross‑functional environments and driving alignment across stakeholders

Ability to balance creativity with sound actuarial discipline in developing pricing strategies

Pay information

The base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job‑relevant education, job‑relevant experience, training licensure, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors. The national average salary range for the Sr. Actuarial is $141,640 to $194,755 with 30% incentive.
