About the team

We are looking for a Senior Advisor to join the Asia Business Analysis & Finance team based in Hong Kong.

The team is a key provider of financial analysis, management reporting and business modelling for the region’s practices and management. It sits within the Global Business Analytics and Insights function in Global Finance and supports Asia Finance Teams across 11 offices in eight countries.

The Senior Advisor will report to the Asia Business Analysis & Finance Manager and will work closely with Asia Management, Practice Groups and Business Managers to expand and strengthen business analytics and decision support capabilities for the region.

About the role

This is a highly analytical and collaborative role with a broad remit across regions and practices. The individual is expected to develop a strong understanding of the business to transform numerical data into clear insights, propose options for decisions being considered, and suggest appropriate actions to reach desired business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

What we’re looking for

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to infer and explain business implications behind numerical data.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to provide clear and impactful messages to partners, business managers, and finance and business team members.

Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to take ownership and prioritise work under tight or evolving deadlines.

Flexible and resilient, comfortable working in an evolving environment where boundaries are not always clearly defined.

Calm and confident under pressure, with experience working with stakeholders to understand their needs and to propose, refine or challenge where appropriate.

Apply if you have

At least 5 years’ experience in a financial analysis or business planning role. Professional services or MNC preferred.

Degree in business, finance, accounting, analytics or a related discipline.

Advanced Excel skills and strong PowerPoint skills. You must be comfortable working with numbers and data.

An eye for data visualization. Experience with Tableau or similar tools would be a bonus.

Prior experience with SAP is desirable but not required.

Fluent written and spoken English. One or more Asian languages desirable but not required.
