JOB TITLE: Senior Infrastructure Specialist zMQ

SALARY: £72,702 - £80,780

LOCATION(S): Edinburgh, Manchester or Leeds

HOURS:  Full-time – 35 hours per week

WORKING PATTERN:  Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Edinburgh or Leeds office.

In this role, you’ll deliver highly complex technical support for systems and processes in mainframe environments, focusing on decommissioning and bug fixing. You’ll help maintain and help migrate services according to Group standards and policies (and to agreed service levels) and will assist with the delivery of investment funded work within mainframe environments – this includes out of hours.

What you’ll need

Extensive knowledge of MQ infrastructure on zOS  

Strong experience of MQ system performance tuning and diagnosis 

Experience of supporting and troubleshooting critical on-line systems. 

Experience with Transport Layer Security (TLS)

It would be great if you also had

Diagnostic skills and an ability to analyse technical information from multiple sources, allowing the provision of highly effective solutions in complex environments
