Contribute positively to a responsive but strategic service and delivery culture which makes business stakeholders and suppliers value the GSC based Procurement team
Support the Global Category Management teams, ensuring that global category strategies and plans are embedded in the businesses
With deep sourcing execution expertise, achieve or exceed agreed savings targets for the each assigned project: although not responsible for Category Planning, the Strategic Sourcing Manager will monitor local market conditions and keep Global Category Management informed of emerging opportunities or changes
Manage end to end strategic sourcing activities for various categories and multiple geographies, with the main focus on Germany.
Provide solutions for numerous diverse and complex purchasing, contractual payment, travel and logistical issues, helping to unblock and accelerate deals if necessary
Demonstrate adherence to internal controls, all relevant procedures, keeping appropriate records, following timely implementation of audit points.
Own stakeholder relationships across the region, as appropriate.
What you’ll do
- Experience in Procurement/ sourcing projects execution
- Ability to influence high-level stakeholders
- Proven experience in similar position
- Problem-solving abilities, looking for solutions to optimize our procurement and vendors management activities
- Great oral and written presentation and communication skills in both English and German (additional languages will be an advantage)
- Goal-oriented procurement professional demonstrating tenacity, dynamism, and continuous improvement
- Understand complex business problems, apply advanced analytical thinking and market knowledge to drive the most appropriate business outcome
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and set expectations, ability to work independently to deliver against objectives to the required quality standards.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- Practical experience of capital risk management within a large international firm in either the first or second line of defence.
- Strong policy writing, communication, presentation and influencing skills.
- Ability to interpret complex risk reports from multiple sources, identify key material risks and draw insightful conclusions.
- Experience in reviewing regulatory change and the impact to capital policy / processes / controls / management / reporting.
- Strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, with resilience/adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Typically, qualifications would include an undergraduate or post-graduate degree in relevant numerate subject.
- Qualifications in accounting/finance/risk management may be beneficial (CPA, CFA, FRM, etc.).
What we offer
The pay range for this role is 14384 PLN - 18500 PLN (monthly, gross).
Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
