What You'll Do:
- Preparing and filing formal documents in a timely manner with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
- Handling administrative aspects of U.S. patent prosecution
- Monitoring and maintaining attorney(s) case dockets
- Maintaining patent application files
- Composing correspondence, reports, memoranda and legal documents
- Creating and editing documents, memos, presentations and spreadsheets
- Calendar management using Outlook and complex meeting planning
- Coordinating travel arrangements
- Time Entry and Billing
Who You Are:
- 1-2 years required; 3-5 years prior experience preferred as an executive or legal assistant in a large law firm or large corporate environment
- Must have experience with the preparation of formal documents for USPTO patent filings and with maintaining U.S. patent application files
- USPTO electronic filing experience a plus
- Experience with CPI and IPDAS a plus Knowledge of international procedures and requirements preferred
- Excellent attention to detail, problem solving, editing, and proofreading ability
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with tact and diplomacy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The Target Salary Range For This Position Varies By Location And Is Commensurate With Relevant Experience: Boston $80,000.00 - $105,000.00
