Job Description
- Assess the credit ratings of banks and non-bank financial institutions in Thailand, applying Fitch’s quantitative and qualitative criteria.
- Write and present rating reports for Fitch’s credit committee review.
- Assist in research on industry developments and contribute to sector reports on financial institutions in Thailand.
- Participate in regional credit committees to review other banking systems in Asia Pacific.
- Communicate Fitch’s rating opinions to issuers, arrangers and investors.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Banking, Economics, Finance, Statistics or Engineering, and a Master’s degree in a finance-related field or CFA is preferred;
- 5-10 years experience in fixed income or equity research, credit analysis or audit, with knowledge of the Thai bank sector and the regulatory environment for financial institutions;
- Familiarity with financial statement analysis of banks and non-bank financial institutions along with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw well-supported conclusions;
- Experience in analytical report writing skills in English;
- Ability to communicate confidently in English and Thai as well as the ability to present analytical conclusions clearly and concisely;
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
