What You'll Do
As Senior Manager – SaaS Engineering for SAP Fieldglass, you will serve as the technical configuration lead for the global implementation of SAP Fieldglass. You will own the end-to-end configuration strategy and execution, ensuring the system is designed, built, and deployed in alignment with the global operating model.
This is a senior, hands‑on role requiring deep SAP Fieldglass expertise. You will act as the internal design authority, partner closely with implementation partner, Product analyst and cross functional teams to ensure technical rigor across configuration build, testing, and deployment phases.
You will balance strategic oversight with detailed configuration execution to ensure scalability, compliance, and long‑term sustainability of the solution. Also, you will act as the Fieldglass reporting expert within our team and ensure reporting standards and knowledge are maintained to a high degree while also delivering ongoing reporting support to our end users
Among your responsibilities, you will:
Lead global configuration design for SAP Fieldglass, including:
- Workflows and approval chains
- Business rules and compliance controls
- Rate structures and complex pricing models
- SOW and milestone billing configurations
- Security model and role‑based access design
- Establish configuration standards and governance processes
- Serve as primary technical counterpart to system integrators and external partners
- Validate and challenge solution designs to ensure scalability and alignment with business objectives
- Oversee integration design and validation with Workday, SAP S4HANA, Coupa, and other systems
- Lead configuration build reviews and technical quality assurance
- Manage quarterly SAP Fieldglass release assessments and regression strategy during implementation
- Identify risks related to data, compliance, and architecture
- Provide thought leadership on platform optimization and long‑term roadmap
Provide time zone support to teams based on Europe and Americas.
YOU’RE GOOD AT

Have a deep technical understanding of the SAP Fieldglass system functionality and apply that knowledge to support global implementation
Designing complex SaaS configurations in enterprise environments
Thinking holistically about system architecture and cross‑system impacts
Balancing global standardization with regional localization needs
Challenging vendors and integrators constructively to drive better outcomes
Translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Troubleshooting complex configuration and integration issues
Operating effectively at both strategic and detailed levels
Communicating technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders
Have overall responsibility for the health of SAP Fieldglass including but not limited to oversight of configuration deliverables across our agile squads, measuring quality of operational effectiveness, maintaining and improving documentation on a variety of topics, proactive support for issues and identification of new releases within the Fieldglass system
Have a sense of urgency in task execution, be well organized, able to solve complex issues and be interested in meeting high expectations while working in a very rewarding environment offering exceptional opportunities for learning and growth
Create clear and comprehensive specification documents for application modifications and new functionality additions.
Stay abreast of functional, technical & development tools, trends and practices, and act as an evangelist for items that should be considered for future initiatives
What You'll Bring
8–12+ years of SaaS or enterprise system configuration experience
4+ years deep SAP Fieldglass configuration expertise (required)
Experience leading configuration workstreams in at least one global SAP Fieldglass implementation (required)
Strong understanding of contingent workforce and services procurement processes
Experience working with system implementation partner and global vendors
Strong knowledge of integrations (Workday, SAP, Coupa, middleware)
Experience managing release governance and change control processes
Proven ability to operate at Senior Manager level with executive exposure
Bachelor’s degree required
Strong technical troubleshooting skills, including debugging and analysis of performance issues
Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with users and provide a high level of customer service in a friendly, professional manner
Preferred:
Experience in consulting or professional services environments
Experience in multi‑country deployments
Knowledge of compliance and audit considerations (e.g., data privacy, worker classification controls)
