Primary functions and essential responsibilities
- Review and validate initial setup of securities in data reference system
- Track elements of the deal closing process and ensure receipt of executed documents
- Scrub credit agreements for key data point and ensure all systems are updated accurately
- Review final deal closing checklists and validate all tasks were correctly executed
- Perform various data checks to ensure the accuracy of key data points
- Perform daily checks to ensure payments for ABS, CMBS, CLO equity deals are processed in timely manner.
- Review cash and position breaks across multiple asset types and ensure resolution and escalation (as necessary)
- Perform various reporting tasks, control checks, and reconciliations on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Run metrics on key performance indicators
- Participate in meetings representing recon and participate in department initiatives such as system enhancements, off‑hour testing and new business conversions as necessary.
- Knowledge of Private Credit funding documentation like Utilization requests & Funds flow statement
- Hands on experience on Preparing trade booking files.
- Experience on internal cash movements along the funds structure.
- Knowledge of Amendments and restructurings for Loans.
- Experience on working for agented and non-agented deals.
- Experience on end‑to‑end Deal closing and funding
- Liaising with various parties like agents, sponsors, custodians and counterparties to ensure timely settlement.
- Well versed with direct lending and bilateral loan funding process.
- Knowledge of trade settlement in clearpar and trade closure will be added advantage
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Finance or related discipline
Experience Required:
Strong knowledge of credit agreements
Strong knowledge of bank loans
Knowledge of Geneva accounting system, Wall Street Office (WSO), & ClearPar preferred
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of complex fund structures a plus
Minimum 6 years of relevant operational experience
Experience with structured products including ABS, CMBS, and CLO Equity
Experience with various types of investment vehicles (hedge funds, BDC’s, CLO’s, etc.)
Experience in loan servicing, notice processing, and corporate actions/restructures
Experience in cash/position reconciliations
Experience on OMS and Deal Cloud will be added advantage.
