Business type Types of Jobs - Asset Management Job title Multi-Asset Portfolio Construction VIE M/F Contract type VIE Programme Expected start date 20/06/2026 Management position No Job summary Role overview The Multi Asset Portfolio Construction team is part of the Multi Asset Investment Platform and is comprised of specialists focused on enhancing the risk‑adjusted return of portfolios. The team has developed proprietary tools and quantitative techniques to support asset allocation, active investment decisions, risk monitoring and portfolio optimisation across the Multi Asset platform. This position will provide hands‑on experience supporting the team’s analytics and digital capability through Alto Studio, Amundi’s internal AI suite, and the rollout of a portfolio management decision support system. The role will allow the VIE to contribute to the innovation process while gaining exposure to portfolio analytics, data visualisation and AI‑enabled tools, working closely with portfolio construction analysts. What you will be responsible for
- Support the Multi Asset Portfolio Construction team in delivering analysis, reporting, and dashboard solutions for the Multi Asset & Solutions investment platforms.
- Build and maintain dashboards in Alto Studio to monitor portfolio performance, risk, exposures and other key metrics.
- Work with portfolio managers and analysts to understand requirements and translate them into intuitive and effective dashboard designs
- Document dashboard functionality, processes and analytical outputs as required.
- Contribute to the testing and rollout of a portfolio management decision support system.
- Interest in financial markets, portfolio construction and data visualisation
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Proficient in SQL to extract, transform, and analyse data from relational databases.
- Solid Python skills for data analysis, automation, and reporting, ideally with exposure to libraries such as pandas, numpy, and matplotlib/seaborn.
- Ability to write and maintain clear, reliable scripts for data processing and analysis
- Understanding of data quality checks, reconciliation, and validation
- Comfort working with large datasets and structured data
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
