Job Description
- Supervise and manage the overall data management and mapping activities of the company
- Initiate proper contractor engagement and facilitate request for proposal for projects such as relocation, parcellary, topographic, and other related activities
- Monitor contractor’s progress and verify the correctness of their deliverables at each milestone
- Conduct land surveys and site verification/inspection using land surveying instruments as necessary
- Facilitate and coordinate acquisition of spatial data to contractors and consultants and integrate it with existing company database
- Organize and tracks all land related documents including map references (hard and soft copies)
- Prepare general maps on the assigned service contract area
- Assist the Community Development, Construction, Electrical, and Permitting team on map requirements
- Encode and process data on Google Earth, ArcGIS, etc.
- Georeference maps and incorporate information from land documents
- Coordinate with Land Securement team and update the land status weekly via the master list of land database
- Encode and plot of data from gathered documents and transforming it into a geodatabase
- Conduct site visits and walkthroughs as may be necessary, as well as related research works as necessary to accomplish the assigned task and expected work output
- Coordinates with corresponding LGU as needed
- If required, supporting the Company’s business (pitch, proposals, admin tasks, etc.)
- Other duties and responsibilities as reasonably requested by the management from time to time
Required Skills and Competencies
- Licensed Geodetic Engineer is required.
- Minimum 5 years experience to this role
- Knowledgeable to use GPS, RTK, and other Surveying equipments
- Knowledgeable Google Earth, ArcGIS and other mapping applications
- Knowledgeable in checking and surveying lot boundaries, conflicts and overlapping
