Job Description
Join ACCIONA on a flagship WA infrastructure project, with first production set for 2028. Long term work, strong job security and real career runway as more works get awarded.
The Project
The Alkimos Desalination Plant Project includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks.

The Role
You’ll fabricate, install and repair steel structures across the site, including marine works, the seawater intake system and the desalination plant itself. Day to day, you’ll work from drawings and specs, carry out welding and cutting work to a high standard, and work alongside fitters and riggers to keep the job on track.
Required Skills and Competencies
What you need
- Trade qualification in boilermaking, or equivalent hands on experience
- Solid welding and fabrication skills
- A genuine safety first attitude
- Experience on large infrastructure or industrial projects, highly regarded
