We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to be part of the Engineering team in our Makati Office. This role will report to the Engineering Director, and will have a regional scope, which includes mainly Philippines, but also Thailand and Vietnam.
Job Description
Design and review detailed civil designs for wind and solar projects, including access roads, platforms, drainage systems, and earthworks.
Perform hydrological and hydraulic modeling using HEC-RAS.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and coordinated project execution (both with the local team and with the headquarters in Spain).
Support permitting processes by preparing or reviewing technical documentation and responding to regulatory requirements.
Prepare and/or review technical documentation for procurement, and construction phases.
Conduct site visits to assess terrain, validate designs, and support construction and commissioning activities.
Optimize civil designs to improve cost efficiency, constructability, and environmental performance.
Contribute to internal investment reports by providing technical input for civil works.
Supervise civil contractors and monitor compliance with quality, safety, and sustainability standards.
Evaluate technical risks and propose mitigation measures.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and corporate engineering guideline
Required Skills and Competencies
Renewable energy experience is preferred.
Civil Engineering Degree
At least 10 years of related professional experience
Experience in hybrid towers (concrete and steel) for WTG (Wind Turbine Generator) - concrete–steel hybrid tower
