Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive salesperson to join our Issuer Services team. The ideal candidate will possess strong initiative, excellent communication skills, and a keen interest in building relationships within clients and the financial industry.
About Issuer Services
American Depositary Receipts (ADRs): are certificates that represent a number of shares of a company that is listed in its home market. Allow investors to buy shares of foreign companies on U.S. exchanges and permits companies to access capital outside its home market and expand its investor base.
A&T (Agency & Trust): These services are critical in transactions such as Project Financing, Syndicated Loans, M&A, Securitization. Deals that demand collateral structures such as escrow, collateral and administrative agent roles.
Responsibilities
- Develop the Citi franchise with client base
- Ability to leverage existing contacts network, understand client needs, introduce Citi offering
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, prospective clients, external law firms, and Investment Banks (IBs)
- Work with management and colleagues to establish a clear marketing plan with defined priorities and market penetration and revenue objectives
- Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities for Issuer Services products
- Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Risk to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
- Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
- Develop a deep understanding of Issuer Services products, their features, benefits, and competitive landscape.
- Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive activities to identify potential business leads and set up sales strategies.
- Demonstrate strong proactivity in outreach, follow-ups, and problem-solving to drive sales cycles to successful completion.

Ability to drive sales, identify opportunities, and achieve targets.
Self-starter with a strong drive to take ownership and pursue leads independently.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders including bankers, product managers, legal teams, and senior executives.
Demonstrated ability to build and nurture long-term professional relationships
Qualifications
- 6-10 years of experience
- Prior Sales, business development, relationship management, or a client-facing role within financial services.
- Understanding of capital markets and banking services
- Experience with corporate trust or capital markets products is a plus.
- Broad client relationships preferred
- Experience in a client facing role
- Self-Motivated, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Advanced problem solving skills
- Fluency in English is required. Additional languages relevant to the market are a plus.
- Must have or be able to obtain licenses required
Education
Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
