Job Overview
We are seeking a visionary and highly accomplished Vice President (VP), to join our team as Application/Product Development AI Engineer. The ideal candidate is a seasoned engineer with a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing and resilient products, driving innovation in product development, and designing robust, scalable software architectures. A critical aspect of this role is to champion and integrate cutting‑edge AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Devin) into our engineering workflows to accelerate development cycles, enhance code quality, and foster a culture of innovation.
Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
Collaborate closely with Product Management, Design, and other business stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet customer needs and market demands.
Champion agile methodologies and a culture of continuous improvement to deliver high-quality products efficiently and predictably.
Innovation & AI Integration
Stay at the forefront of industry trends, particularly in software architecture, microservices, and artificial intelligence.
Lead the evaluation and adoption of new technologies and tools to enhance engineering productivity and product capabilities.
Actively promote and guide the hands‑on use of AI‑driven development tools like GitHub Copilot, Devin, and other emerging technologies to optimize coding, testing, and debugging processes.
Qualifications and skills required
6+ years of experience in software engineering
4+ years' experience and demonstrated expertise in designing and building large‑scale, distributed systems using microservices architecture.
4+ years' experience and deep and extensive knowledge of modern software architecture principles and framework design.
Technical Skills
6+ years' experience and mastery of one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Go, Python).
3+ years proven experience with API design (REST, gRPC), data modeling, and various database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
Hands‑on experience and proficiency in leveraging AI‑powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Devin) in a professional engineering environment.
Must have Full stack -Java backend, React or Angular frontend experience
Leadership & Soft Skills
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate large teams.
Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
A passion for innovation and a forward‑thinking mindset.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
