Join Our Team as a Junior Data Analyst! Are you fascinated by data and eager to turn numbers into real business insights? We are looking for a curious and driven Junior Data Analyst to join our growing Data Team in Ostrava. We leverage a modern cloud data platform built on Azure and Databricks, where we process and analyze data at scale. You'll develop reports and dashboards in Power BI, translating complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. What you’ll be doing:
- Analyze data and develop reports and dashboards that help the business make smarter decisions
- Support the implementation and development of production analytical systems
- Be an active part of data projects – explore, crunch, and model data to uncover insights
- Ensure data assets are well‑documented, accessible, and of high quality
- Collaborate with the Data Team to answer real business questions with the right analytical solutions
- Contribute to improving data maturity across all business lines
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum secondary education (university background in IT, statistics, or economics is a plus)
- English proficiency at B2 level – you'll use it regularly
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Solid analytical thinking and a love for problem-solving
- Basic understanding of SQL and BI concepts – databases, data warehousing, KPIs, or dashboarding
- Responsibility, reliability, and a team‑first attitude
- Experience with data management or governance? Even better!
