Overview Buyer Specialist is responsible for assisting the direct superior in developing and implementing procurement strategies to ensure the end-to-end (E2E) procurement function operates in line with the business objectives, adds value, mitigate risk, deliver cost savings, and ensures proper procurement governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase requests and select suitable suppliers
- Conduct cost analysis and negotiate pricing and contracts
- Manage relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
- Support contract preparation and coordination with legal
- Identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
- Prepare procurement reports and updates
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics, Engineering, or related field
- 4–6 years of procurement experience
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
