Team/Role Overview
The Reference Data Services Analyst 2 is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices.
What you’ll do:
- - Complete all mandatory reports in a timely manner and to required standard
- - Perform daily operations related to the creation, modification, and deletion of reference data (e.g., securities, legal entities, counterparties, market data).
- - Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency by adhering to established data governance policies and procedures.
- - Validate data inputs against source documents and internal systems, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- - Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Risk Management, and Technology teams, to address reference data requirements and issues.
- - Participate in testing for system enhancements, upgrades, and new data initiatives.
What we’ll need from you:
- - Bachelor's degree preferred
- - 1-2 years of related job experience
- - Good awareness of client needs/expectations
- - Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access- is desired)
- - Proven success as a team player
- - Excellent command of English (both written and spoken) is required, along with strong communication skills
