Vice President role in Asset & Wealth Management team – lead large‑scale engineering on AWS and Java at Goldman Sachs.
Seeking a senior engineer with 5+ years of Java, RESTful services, SQL, AWS experience and a passion for scalable payment solutions.

Skills and Experience We Are Looking For
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or related Engineering Field
5+ years of Java development and other programming languages with experience in Object Oriented Analysis, Design and testing best practices
Experience in building scalable and distributed platforms (AWS cloud technologies is a plus).
Knowledge in one or more SQL dialects.
Self-motivated with analytical mindset who can multi-task to solve interesting and difficult technical problems under time pressure and resource constraints
Experience with all stages of the development lifecycle: inception, analysis, design, review, testing, and deployment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
A background in data intensive applications and Batch Process.
Experience in AWS Cloud technologies.
Comfortable working in highly dynamic and rapid development environment (Agile development experience)
Working knowledge/experience in the financial or banking industry
Technologies & Tools
Java, Web/RESTful service development: HTML 5, JavaScript/ReactJS, JSON, Kubernetes, SQL, testing and build tools.
