Are you interested in a six-month Internship in a dynamic international environment that promotes freedom and security? Headquarters Allied Air Command (AIRCOM) located in Ramstein, Germany is looking for a sharp, creative, and motivated Bachelor or Master student or recent graduate to intern in the NATO Space Operations Centre (NSpOC) in the Space Theatre Component.

 

AIRCOM is responsible for delivering Air and Space Power for NATO. The intern will assist the NATO Space Operators in the NATO Space Operations Centre (NSpOC) in enhancing the efficiency through experimentation, streamlining the in-house space software suite, and improving its user interface.

Additional Information:

The AIRCOM Internship duration is six months. AIRCOM Interns will receive a monthly lump sum of €1,452 Euro (as of 2026 pay scale). The intern is responsible to declare this income to the relevant tax authorities as appropriate. Interns may receive emoluments from outside sources such as scholarships or grants during their internship. Arrangements for travel, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of the intern. Interns are also required to have their own social insurance coverage, including healthcare, on joining AIRCOM. 

 

Participation in an internship is subject to receipt of NATO security clearance from the intern's national authorities. Interns may join AIRCOM only after AIRCOM has obtained the necessary clearance, which can take, on average, six months or longer.
