Position Overview

Job Title: Techno‑Functional Specialist (Business‑Oriented Technologist) Corporate Title: Vice President Location: Pune, India.

Role Description

As an VP Techno‑Functional Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering data‑intensive, regulatory‑driven platforms across BPP. The role combines strong business analysis with sound engineering understanding to ensure that complex regulatory and finance requirements are translated into robust, scalable, and compliant technology solutions. This position is a key execution role within the delivery chain—reducing ambiguity, improving quality, and accelerating outcomes across finance and reporting initiatives. This will require the Technology Lead to help execute the following transformations with our global teams:

Your key responsibilities

Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, business rules, and data requirements.

Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring alignment and reducing delivery risk.

Support solution design across data models, reporting logic, integrations, and platform architecture, ensuring business intent is correctly implemented.

Ensure end‑to‑end traceability from requirements through build, testing, UAT, and release.

Identify and manage data quality, control, and reconciliation considerations early in delivery.

Partner with QA, operations, and business teams to validate outcomes against regulatory and reporting expectations.

Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery standards, documentation, and analysis practices within the domain.

Your skills and experience

Proven experience in techno‑functional / business analysis roles within finance, reporting, or regulatory domains. Strong understanding of Group Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, or Financial Control processes. Grasp of engineering fundamentals (data platforms, APIs, system integrations, SDLC). Ability to reason about technical designs and challenge solutions constructively. Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models within regulated environments. Strong stakeholder communication and analytical skills.

Ideal Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in a relevant field such as Computer Science, AI/ML, Statistics, or Engineering. Domain Knowledge: Experience in the financial services industry, particularly Investment Banking, is highly desirable.
