You will be joining the Anti‑Financial Crime (AFC) Technology team and will work as part of a multi‑skilled agile team, dedicated to rolling out sophisticated automation and tooling to support continuous delivery. Your team will work hard to foster increased collaboration and create an engineering culture. You will make a crucial contribution to our efforts to be able to release our software more frequently, efficiently and with less risk. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging problems, analyse large complex datasets and develop a deep understanding of the Transaction Monitoring (TM) functions and dataflows.

You can expect:

Your key responsibilities

Leading and collaborating across teams, mentoring, teaching, discovering new techniques and helping others to adopt them, leading by example

Actively participate in Agile ceremonies driving backlog refinement and QBR prioritization based on business and regulatory commitments and taking part in software and architectural design activities either as a PO or Lead BA

Developing and communicating a deep understanding of the TM products, how they have been implemented, the services provided to the business and processes that support it

Developing, maintaining, and sharing a suite of documentation which defines the end-to-end data model, including Extraction, Transformation, Loading and use in target application

Employing data querying and analytical techniques to support the understanding of data and creation of reports and actionable intelligence

Foster a culture of continuous improvement driving both business change as well as technical and performance optimizations

Your skills and experience

Data Analysis experience, using SQL, ideally in Hadoop or other Big Data environments

Experience in delivering technical and/or operational solutions for Anti‑Financial Crime in the Financial Services Industry

Understanding of the payments industry, payments systems, data and protocols as well as SWIFT messaging

Very good analytical problem solving capabilities

Strong communication skills, with ability to interpret and draft in both technical and non-technical language
